Meat Eaters

I was just watching a Peta advertisement today. Yeah, they make things appear more cruel than they probably would be, but it does not discount the fact that there are some mindless, heartless butchers who see no pain. I would be surprised if they feel pain; is their brain dead I sometimes wonder. Otherwise, how could someone smash a helpless animal's head with a rock. Those who chop these innocent animals are aptly called "butchers", who have no brain or heart. But what should one refer to those eat those chopped dead bodies, corpses of poor animals? Butchers have no heart or brain, agreed, but do not the flesh eaters have any of it too?

While watching the show, I remembered a very (emotionally) painful experience of seeing a slaughter house near LA, California. Very few may have an idea of what a slaughter house is; thousands (yes thousands) of beautiful cows lined up in a dense area, sticking to one another, ready to be chopped. Why are these cows sacrificed? is it for hunger? NO. These animals are excessively killed, for tons (1000s of KGs) of meat are thrown out in garbage! Who in the world gave these barbarians the license to take the lives of these animals? Who gave the consent? Mass murderers.

If a human is killed one is sentenced to death, but why is it a different rule when it comes to animals? Why are the cannibals more cruel than those who eat these animals? Some say that animals have no intelligence, then should they not feed on the mentally challenged or special kids or those who are in a state of coma or ones with dead brains? Is it not logical to eat a human baby then? Some claim that animals have no soul, LOL! Dumbest justification one can give for an immoral act of cruelty.

Is it not natural that there is so much of terrorism around? Again, if animals can be butchered how different are humans to these inhumans?

May the world be a peaceful place with less violence at all levels. May men experience compassion for the innocent animals that are victims of man's hunger for meat.
